Featuring five lessons and an interactive simulation, this unit allows students to explore genetics and evolution through problem-based learning and simulations. 

The unit culminates with a tour of the Galapagos islands where students record their observations of species on the various islands and complete challenges using a simulator to manipulate environmental conditions that force the evolution of various species.
